[…] below is a fact only you can supply — the registered office, CIN, GSTIN and the name of the grievance officer. Do not publish this page until those are filled in and a lawyer has read the liability, cancellation and governing-law sections.almost friday is operated by Stayoft Ventures Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. In these terms “we”, “us” and “almost friday” mean that company, and “you” means the person using the app or the website.

We sell tickets to experiences that other companies operate. Two different people are involved in any booking, and it is worth being plain about which is which.
We are not the operator and we do not supervise how an experience is run. Where we describe an experience we are passing on what the operator and our ticketing partner have told us.
We say that experiences on almost friday are curated rather than crowded, planned around you, and clear about what is included before you confirm. That is a description of how we choose and present things — it is a standard we hold ourselves to, not a money-back guarantee, and it does not add to the cancellation policy or the refunds set out below. Where we do promise you money back, we say so in those words.
You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Anyone who can read that inbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law. If you book for other people you confirm you are authorised to give us their details and to accept these terms for them. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab.
Choosing a ticket places a temporary hold with the operator while you pay. The hold has a clock on it, shown on screen; if it runs out the tickets go back on sale and nothing is charged. Your booking is confirmed only when payment has succeeded and the operator has accepted it. Until you see it as confirmed, treat it as not booked.
Tickets are issued by the operator and are usually with you within half an hour of confirmation. Your booking page shows them as soon as they arrive. Present the barcode and any ID or document the experience requires; an operator may refuse entry without them.
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include our fee. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay — we do not add anything after it. Prices and availability come from the operator and can change until a booking is confirmed; if a price changes before you confirm, the new one is shown before you pay. […] — how GST applies to these sales, and whether it is shown separately, still has to be settled with your accountant and stated here.
Payment is processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card number. Where you choose to save a card it is stored by Razorpay as a token, not by us.
Costs the operator charges on the day — entry to something not included, equipment hire, local taxes collected at the gate — are between you and them.
Each experience carries the operator’s own cancellation policy. It is shown on the experience page, again before you pay, and again on your booking page. We do not set it and we cannot override it.
If the operator cancels, or the experience cannot go ahead for a reason that is not your doing — weather, a closure, too few guests, a fault of the operator’s — you get a full refund of what you paid us, whatever the cancellation policy says. Where the operator offers an alternative date you may take it instead. We will tell you as soon as we know.
A refund of what you paid us is the extent of what we owe in that situation. We do not reimburse flights, hotels, visas, time off work or anything else you arranged around the experience.
Travel documents, visas, vaccinations and insurance are yours to sort out, and we do not check them. Read the experience page for age limits, health and fitness requirements, accessibility, what to bring and where to meet. Tell us about anything relevant at booking so we can pass it on — an operator may refuse entry to someone whose needs they were not told about. Follow the operator’s safety instructions; they can remove you without a refund if you put yourself or others at risk, or if you are intoxicated.
Use it for its purpose. Do not break the law with it, scrape or copy our content, resell tickets bought through it, interfere with how it works for other people, or try to reach parts of it that are not meant for you. Do not book fraudulently or with someone else’s payment method.
Write about experiences you actually had. Do not post anything false, abusive, unlawful, or that identifies another person without their agreement. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to show it on almost friday and in our marketing, and to pass the substance of it to the operator. We can remove anything that breaks this section, and we will tell you why if you ask.
The name almost friday, the app, the website, our writing, design and photography are ours or our licensors’. Using the service does not give you any right to them beyond using the service.
We are responsible for selling you a valid ticket at the price shown, for handling your payment correctly, and for the refunds described above. If we get that wrong, we will put it right.
We are not responsible for how an operator runs their experience, for injury or loss arising from the activity itself, for the accuracy of information an operator gave us, or for anything outside our reasonable control.
Where we are liable to you, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of enjoyment, earnings or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Those rights come first, and nothing here takes them away.
If we suffer a loss because you broke these terms, used the service unlawfully, or gave us details for other travellers that you were not entitled to give, you will cover the reasonable cost of it.
Neither of us is in breach of these terms for failing to do something prevented by an event outside reasonable control — severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike, government action, or failure of payment or telecommunications infrastructure. If an experience cannot run for such a reason, the refund section above applies.
We can suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, to break these terms, or in a way that puts other people or our partners at risk. Where we do, we will tell you why unless the law stops us, and any confirmed booking you have already paid for still stands.
Write to support@almostfriday.app and we will help. If that does not settle it, escalate to our grievance officer at the same address, marking it for their attention.
