Booking and payment
How does booking work?
Choose a ticket, a date and how many people are going. We then hold those tickets with the operator for 15 minutes while you pay, and the screen shows how long you have. If the time runs out, the tickets go back on sale and you are not charged.
When is my booking confirmed?
When your payment has gone through and the operator has accepted the booking. Until your booking shows as confirmed in My bookings, treat it as not booked.
What currency are prices in, and are there extra charges?
Prices are in Indian rupees and include our fee. The price at checkout is the price you pay; we do not add anything after it. Costs an operator charges on the day, such as equipment hire or something not included, are between you and them.
How do I pay?
On PayU, our payment provider. You enter your payment details with them, and we never receive or store your card number.
Can I use a coupon code?
Yes. Open Have a coupon? at checkout and enter the code. Codes come off our fee, not the operator’s ticket price.
Do I need an account to book?
Yes. You sign in with a code sent to your email address, or with Google or Apple. You need to be at least 18.
Tickets
When do I get my tickets?
The operator issues them, usually within half an hour of your booking being confirmed. They appear on your booking page as soon as they arrive, and in your email.
How do I use my ticket?
Show the barcode on your booking page, or the e-ticket you can download from it, together with any ID or document the experience asks for. An operator may refuse entry without them.
Can I add my booking to my calendar?
Yes. Open the booking in My bookings and choose Add to calendar.
Where do I find a proof of payment?
Open the booking in My bookings and choose Proof of payment. It shows what you paid, when, and PayU’s payment ID, and you can print it or save it as a PDF. It is not a tax invoice.
Cancellations and refunds
Can I cancel my booking?
Every experience has the operator’s own cancellation policy. You see it on the experience page, again before you pay, and on your booking page. If your booking is refundable, you can cancel it from the booking page. We do not set the policy and cannot override it.
How much do I get back?
The percentage stated in the cancellation policy. Your booking page shows it before you cancel.
How long does a refund take?
It goes back to the way you paid. We ask for it as soon as the cancellation goes through and email you when it has been sent. It usually takes a few working days to reach you, depending on your bank.
What if my booking is non-refundable?
Cancelling it returns nothing, and not turning up counts the same as cancelling.
What happens if the operator cancels?
If the experience cannot go ahead for a reason that is not yours, such as weather, a closure or too few guests, you get a full refund of what you paid us, whatever the cancellation policy says. If the operator offers another date, you can take that instead. We do not cover flights, hotels or anything else you arranged around it.
Changing a booking
Can I change the date, time or number of guests?
That depends on the operator. Write to us with your booking reference and we will ask them. If a change is not possible, the way to change it is to cancel under the cancellation policy and book again.
Someone in my group has an access or health need. Who do I tell?
Tell us when you book, or write to us with your booking reference, and we will pass it on to the operator. An operator may refuse entry to someone whose needs they were not told about.
On the day
Where do I go, and what should I bring?
The experience page has the meeting point, what to bring, age limits and health or fitness requirements. Read it before you go.
Do you check visas, travel documents or insurance?
No. Travel documents, visas, vaccinations and insurance are yours to arrange.
Who runs the experience?
The operator does: the tour, the venue, the guide and the safety of the activity are theirs. We sell you the ticket and handle the booking, the payment and any refund.
Your account and data
How do I change my name or phone number?
Go to Personal details in your profile. Your email is how you sign in, so it cannot be changed there.
How do I review an experience?
Open the booking in My bookings from the day of your visit and choose a star rating. Your review shows under your first name, marked as a verified booking.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Choose Download my data in your profile for a file of everything we hold about you.
How do I delete my account?
Choose Delete my account in your profile. It removes your account, saved trips and reviews straight away. Bookings you already made are kept as financial records, with your name and account removed from them.
How do you use my personal data?
Our privacy policy sets out what we collect, who we share it with and your rights. Our terms of service cover how bookings work.
Still need help?
Write to us with your booking reference if it is about a booking.
